Joe Wright

Joseph is a cybersecurity and threat expert with over 10 years of experience in the field, including a distinguished career in the United States Coast Guard and currently serving as Vice President of Services at Blue Team Alpha.

Throughout his career, Joe has demonstrated hands-on expertise in intrusion detection, incident response, and computer forensics. He has successfully led and managed hundreds of incident response engagements, encompassing both reactive and proactive security services.  His deep understanding of cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities enables him to effectively plan, implement, and upgrade security measures, identify advanced threats, and troubleshoot complex security challenges.

Joe’s previous roles include Incident Response Commander and Solutions Architect at Blue Team Alpha.  Prior to that, he served in the Coast Guard, culminating in a role as Team Lead for the Coast Guard’s Cyber Protection Team, where he was responsible for operations management and supervision of the Coast Guard’s Cybersecurity Operations Center.

Joe is committed to continuous learning and professional development, ensuring he remains at the forefront of cybersecurity trends and attack vectors. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems Security with a concentration in Cybersecurity from American Military University and is a graduate of the Joint Information Warfare Training Center.
