What You’ll Do

As DoD Cybersecurity SkillBridge, you will work fully remote alongside our highly skilled security professionals, gaining exposure to tools, processes, and incident response methodologies used in active engagements. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting Security Operations Center (SOC) analysts in monitoring and investigating potential threats.
• Assisting with incident response activities, including triage and escalation procedures.
• Performing threat hunting and malware analysis with guidance from senior team members.
• Learning to use cybersecurity tools (EDR, XDR, SOAR, SIEM).
• Participating in team meetings, security briefings, and training sessions.
• Documenting findings and drafting reports for internal review.

During this program, you will build the skills and prepare for careers such as SOC Analyst, Incident Response Engineer, Penetration Tester, and Threat Intelligence Analyst—while gaining hands-on experience across multiple cybersecurity fields to discover where your talents and interests align best.

Qualifications

Required:

• Active-duty military status with command approval to participate in the DoD SkillBridge program.
• Interest in cybersecurity and information technology.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
• Background in IT and/or cybersecurity fields.

Preferred:

• Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts.
• IT or cybersecurity certifications (e.g., Security+, CySA+, A+).

Duration:

• Up to 180 days
